2-Year LLB: You must have completed a undergraduate degree with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.8/4.0 (approximately 65%) or above by September of year of entry. Candidates will also be required to submit a personal statement, resume, two confidential letters of reference and of course a complete set of official transcripts.
3-Year BCL (Bachelors of Common Law*): You may apply directly from High School. This law pathway can be 3 years BCL(Hons) or 4 years if following the BCL (International) or BCL (Clinical). Canadian applicants would need to meet the Band 2 requirements which are different depending on the province.
*Please note, civil law is only practiced in Québec while common law is the legal system used in the other provinces of Canada.
Ontario requirements: Minimum average of 80% in five acceptable Grade 12 U, U/C or M courses including Grade 12 U English.
British Columbia requirements: Minimum average of 80% in five acceptable Grade 12 courses (including provincial examinations where applicable).
US requirements: Minimum GPA: 3.4/4.0 High School Diploma PLUS SAT (Minimum 1380) or ACT (minimum 29)
2-Year MLC: Students who have completed or are in final year of a non-law degree (Level 8 NQAI or equivalent) can apply for this programme.
4-Year BCL (Bachelors of Civil Law*): Ontario requirements: Six acceptable Grade 12 university/college preparation (M), college preparation (C) or university preparation (U) courses including Grade 12 U English with an average of 77%

British Columbia requirements: BC Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma) Subjects must be at least 4 Credits when taken at Grade 12. Overall award of Diploma with a minimum
average of an A (88%) is required for entry.
Average is calculated on best 6 recognized subjects
Vocation subjects not recognized.
Pre-Calculus and Calculus will not be considered as separate subjects.
US requirements: Minimum GPA: 3.5/4.0 High School Diploma PLUS SAT (Minimum 1200) or ACT (minimum 25) and one AP Score 3 or Better
